Here's one more thing, and most likely I am not alone in this. We always see movies and images of the Holocaust - indeed of that entire time period - in black and white, and it's so easy to associate black and white with "a long time ago". It's much harder to remember that for everyone who lived during that time, life was in color, just like it is for you and me. Here's an incredible video of color movie footage and images.
